Taverniti So Jeans is a sportswear collection from Jimmy Taverniti, who also sells Taverniti Couture. Known for his garment-dying and stonewashing techniques, Taverniti has focused on jeans, T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants and stretch silk tops. The denim banks on vintage appeal, from baggy, masculine pants to trousers and skinny jeans.
In 2004, Taverniti and his old friend Paul Guez (who took over Sasson Jeans from owner Elliott Jamar) joined forces to launch Taverniti So Jeans. Taverniti and Guez’s team, including Gregory Abbou, developed new wash treatments and fits, using premium denim as well as other fabrications from the USA, Japan and Europe.
Taverniti Jeans tend to fit a tall, slender frame with emphasis on pocket detail and a "streamlined" appearance all down the leg. The Taverniti "Twist" Jeans emulates the True Religion seam down the leg as it twists into the front, a very flattering look for most body types.

Support VA's Own Chris Brown in "Takers" hits theaters Aug.27
The Cartel can only speculate what was the major delay in one of the most highly anticipated movies of two summers, first slated to premier in May of 2009, "Takers" is soon to take the movie theaters by storm. Many speculated that is was questionable if Chris Brown would actually make it into the film due to his legal troubles. The Cartel believes this was not the case, the real reason was T.I.'s stint in prison. This movie is a Diamond step for black actors, if it lives up to the trailer, it should be the black equivalent to "Ocean's 11." Instead of a small role that sometimes seems forced in other movies. T.I., Idris Elba, and Chris Brown roles rival their white counterparts in this movie. Expect a spectacular performance from Matt Dilon, Paul Walker, and Hayden Christensen also. The Cartel is not racist in any shape or form just happy to see an accurate demographic of America on the screen. T.I. was also one of the films producers. Review of Curtain Call J.King's perspective

It’s no surprise the NSU architect major would be interested in blueprints. While many may focus only on the finished product, or in the case of some promoters which are focused mainly on the money, J. King of King Productions is interested in setting the standard in event planning.
The Blueprint premiered on May 23, 2010 which was the his first installment on the Blueprint Trilogy and also marked the first time King worked with Patman Williams of Royal Court Promotions. It was an instant success which led to The Blueprint 2, Diplomatic Summer, and Curtain Call. King approaches event coordinating in a way he says is lacking from the rest. “Creativity is none,” he said hours before Curtain Call. The event was held at Entourage August 13th, 2010. “We had a hell of a run this summer.” King says working with Royal Court is a “good connection” because of their similar dedication and being privy to innovative concepts.
He believes new ideas and a focus on the business of promotion is critical, especially in this area. “This isn’t DC. If you throw a party and it’s wack and then somebody comes behind you and throws a party at the same place, people might not come out because of that.” Armed with well thought out events and concepts, King aims to show how creativity, loyalty, professionalism, and devotion to trendsetting should be the foundation for successful parties. “We want to promote the whole package differently,” he says. So don’t look for a million invites and a blown up inbox for any of his parties. But do look for hot flyer designs, lines down the block, sold out events and a good time. And Curtain Call did not disappoint.
The Friday preceding Curtain Call shows you the effectiveness of King's strategic planning. "There where 150 people in the club" says one Entourage patron "literally." But Curtain Call at Entourage had well over 100 people waiting outside for the chance to get in after the club hit capacity at Midnight. The party was hosted by Linwood Johnson and The JUICE CREW who once in the VIP got the club hype! The Juice Crew's frontman demanded the microphone from Linwood which he traded for one of the ten bottles of Rozae purchased exclusively for the VIP patrons. After that, it was a night to remember, the energy from the Juice Crew on the Mic triggered a domino effect that spread to the DJ then back onto the entire club. Everyone in the club thought they were Big Meech or Larry Hoover (which ever one you like) when "BMF" by Rick Ross was spun. Bottles of Rozae continued to pop as "Lose My Mind" by Young Jeezy played next. "This s*** crazy, way too packed" -Jeezy is an understatement.

Oasis Sundays at Omega Bar
Oasis Sunday 8.8.10 at Omega Bar 401 Great Neck Rd Virginia Beach, VAPowered by Chris Roy, Aaron Jones , and the good folk of Executive Marketing. Oasis Sunday is a salute to a good week and the good life. The inaugural edition kicked off this past Sunday at Omega Bar in Virginia Beach. And if you weren’t there, don’t worry… Diamond Cartel will get you Privy.
The venue is very grown and sexy and takes partying and social life to another level. Multiple vip and lounge areas overlook the dance floor while flat screens overlook the bar. There are so many flossy dudes and fancy ladies dancing and being photographed by LJ Cobb of The Party Paparazzi. What you have is an atmosphere with many in attendance, good music, and a beautiful venue which is summed up in one word- “Sexy.”
DJ Yce had the party rockin and the bar jumpin. Neon lights behind the bar illuminated the bottles to beat. Usher’s “OMG” seems to rock that much harder when you see it through bottles of Ciroc, Belvi, Bacardi, and Patron. "Strong islands" best known as long islands served in tall glasses, and the who’s who of Hampton Roads s/o their team during Nikki and Drizzy’s “Up All Night” all added to the Oasis experience. Perfect for that week you don’t have to be to class until Tuesday ...and worth it if you have an 8am on Monday. Either way Omega is the spot you want be on Sunday nights.
